Russ Darrow is pleased to announce the “Technician Development Program” (TDP) for individuals who want to learn the trade of becoming a professional automotive technician.

Russ Darrow will hire appropriate candidates, invest in tools and specialized training and provide an opportunity for men and women to become ASE and Manufacturer (OEM Factory) trained technicians. It is understood that the TDP requires a significant investment by Russ Darrow and it is, therefore, necessary to require candidates that wish to enter the TDP to enter into this agreement which contains a non-compete provision.
The candidate will begin a 5-year apprentice and training program that will result in the candidate becoming a Certified Master Technician provided the candidate participates in and completes the required work-related training and educational classes. It is further understood by the undersigned candidate that nothing in this agreement changes his/her classification as an “at-will” employee of Russ Darrow.
The candidate will be employed as an at-will employee throughout the training period and will earn guaranteed pay raises as they participate in and complete the training. The candidate agree to a 1 year or 50 air mile non-compete agreement for automotive-related positions upon their separation from Russ Darrow for any reason.

Russ Darrow will provide employment in accordance with the Employee Handbook. Russ Darrow will provide the appropriate tools, toolbox and related items required for an entry-level technician.
